Group 4: Rodeback: The Legend of the Scarecrow

The Legend of the Scarecrow from Carlos Lascano on Vimeo.

I enjoyed watching this short video and how the narration, though in Spanish, followed the scenes very well to explain the story. The music also brought interest and intensity in the dramatic scenes. Subtle sound effects, like the crow and wind, gave dynamic elements to the narrative.

  1. They did really well with getting subtle details into this work, such as the wind blowing the scarecrows scarf and the wings of birds as well as they're flying.

  2. I love the small details as well the color scheme really reminds of of a scarecrow scene.

  3. Very nightmare before christmas-y once the pumpkin creature comes in. Definitely stylized figures: their eyes! 7:00 minutes into it: the fire looks like a lot of work especially after attending a motion workshop at designcamp. looks like hours of time.
